Great direcrtion by pawlikowski, I lv how he ampliphies the importance of the lil things like the bird song and buzzing insects wich catchs the timelessness of the lng summer holidays perfectly.The film also manages to portray teenage lesbian friendships without the picture being sexualy exsplicit, insted focuses on the new exciting time in these girls lifes.
