I think some of the critics and reviewers have been unneccessarily harsh about this movie... it's by no means the best nor the worst of recent horror films. And I think there lies the problem... it's just average.
.. It is predictable, I do see other movies influences within the storyline... but I've also seen worse within the genre. It was watchable - even if it wasn't great. I think it suffers like a lot of horrors do, that the end is a let down and pretty awful.
