I'm a little surprised that the reviews for My Soul to Take are so negative. It's no masterpiece, but I enjoyed it and I thought some aspects of the story interestingly combining aspects of different sub-genres of horror/slasher movies.
Max Theriot and Emily Meade gave a good performances in a somewhat complex roles, and Marco Beltrami's score gives the film a good punch. I watched it on Blu-ray, which is not the 3D format of the theatrical release.
