I hate how the movie ends. It's just depressing. To be fair, the novel the movie was based on has an equally but different depressing ending. BUT... Why didn't the older sister tell her parents that she didn't want her younger sister to donate her kidney? Why did they hide the truth behind a thick covering of selfishness for the majority of the movie?
