While it is 80% different from its source material, My Sister's Keeper is still a winner. It's powerful acting, strong narrative, and beautiful cinematography make up for any fault this film has.
And please, crying at a movie doesn't make it bad. It is only bad when the story, acting, or direction is bad. Since this film has none of this, I don't really see anything wrong with the film.
I'm not giving a really high score because while it is a great movie, it is completely different from the novel by Jodi Picoult its based off of. Overall, My Sisters Keeper is a great film, but it should resemble its source material a little bit more.
