Cassavetes has created yet another movie from an okay book. Although readers/fans of the book are angered by the changes made to the plot, Picoult signed away the rights to her story and Cassavetes changed what he did to make the movie more MOVIE-audience appealing.
I love the changes he made and I absolutely adore the movie. It's touching, dramatic, and hysterical.
