It's a pity they couldn't get someone better than Keanu Reeves to star alongside River Phoenix (R.I.P) in "My Own Private Idaho". Reeves doesn't take away from how good the movie is though, thank god.
"My Own Private Idaho" is yet another brilliant film from Gus Van Sant. It's emotional, tragic, and unique.
