A heartbreakingly melancholy movie about detachment and lost innocence. River Phoenix gives a haunting performance as Mike Waters that will leave a distinct impression on you forever. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, despite it's bitter-sweet ending; this film kept me thinking for days on end.
