Renee is not one of my favorite actresses. She doesn't sell a movie for me. BUT she did a great job acting in this movie. People always say oh, I don't like that actor or this actress so I won't see a movie.
Don't let that limit you. This story of George Hamiltons childhood is really compelling to watch. The boys that play George and his brother are entertaining and downright funny. There are alot of other stars here Chris Noth, Eric McCormack, Kevin Bacon.
Kevin does a wonderful job too as the flandering husband all around party boy, bad father...but stays lovable and its hard to be really mad at him. Go see this one its worth your time.
