Review of My One and Only (2009) by Ernest C — 03 Aug 2010

Those who know about actor George Hamilton will more appreciate this film loosely based on his early adolescent life. The filmâ??s look nicely captured the 1950s and Lerman as the young Hamilton does well.

Less assured is Zellweger, who at times almost overacts. I struggled with what I perceived as a lack of a narrative thread; this film appears to be very episodic. Itâ??s not a bad film, just one that, in the end, did not interest me enough.
