Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Andy S — 12 Jul 2010
Just as good as I expected and top notch acting from the master Shahrukh!
Funny, romantic, slushy and emotional, some great songs and a fairly good, if not a little drawn out story!
Sadly though I feel, alot of it is aimed at an American audience, leaving far behind the roots and beauty of a true Bollywood classic.
Shahrukh plays the likeable Khan... Khhhhaaannnn ( from the epiglotis, lots of phlegm!!) who suffers a form of Autism, although incredibly well observed and unintentionally amusing at first, it wears abit thin over three hours, but congratulations for the portrayel.
If you're a Shahrukh fan then you will probably love this, if just a Bollywood fan you maybe disappointed somewhat.
