Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Elizabeth H — 12 Oct 2010
A post 9/11 immigrant Forrest Gump overcoming movie (it had the adoring mom, the mental illness, the love story and traveling across America).
Kinda melodramatic but really funny in places too. My biggest complaint was the Hindi/Urdu subtitles were too small to read all the time.
It also make me think that while living in a society with multiple religions is fairly new to USA its been the norm for India.
Definitely a must see for people interested in Muslims in America.
