Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Melissa H — 25 Oct 2010
Oh Shahrukh, you really can do no wrong, can you? Released by Fox, containing no music/dancing, and centering on the question, "what is a good American?", this is a prime vehicle to introduce Shahrukh Khan to American viewers who don't yet know what they're missing.
SRK plays a man with Aspergers Syndrome who teaches everyone that family is found in love. Themes include Christian/Muslim relations after 9/11, treatment of people with disabilities, hate crimes, and politics.
Highly recommend. I won't even make you watch a Bollywood after. ;).
