Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Andy T — 19 Jan 2011
At first I thought it was goping to be a lighthearted and warm Bollywood movie. and then suddenly... incongruently it turns around into complexity, and shows how the lives of a Muslim man (Khan) and his Hindu wife change for the worse and become divided after the events of 9/11.
The film achieves closure inspite of heading into some really heavy topics and somehow stays light and extremely compelling (especially in the last half of the movie). It's a long movie though.
