Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Kevin C — 23 Sep 2011
This movie had so much potential. The first hour or so is pretty funny and sets things up nicely, but all of the big dramatic plot events seem so over the top and ridiculous. You have the kid killed by a soccer ball to the chest, the hurricane Katrina spoof where only media and random muslims can make it into town to rescue it, and the horrible horrible Obama impersonation at the end.
Great set up, bad second half.
