Review of My Name Is Khan (2010) by Arlene R — 23 Jan 2014
This film tries to force the audience to understand the message that is all too easy to understand, making the director feel needy. Insensitive jokes towards autism, regardless of how intentional the insensitivity, made the message lose its meaning, and made the film seem hypocritical.
The first half of the film was somewhat entertaining, but in spite of the search for the president being the most intriguing premise, it was executed poorly, and made the film a dull waste of a viewing.
