Review of My Name Is Bruce (2007) by Anthony C — 28 Feb 2009
Bruce Campbell has the best kind of attitude about the crap he's had to act in for the past 30 years and he proves it with this little gem. Good, but not great, it's a satire of a career that unjustly had to wallow in the mire of the movie-making world. Some pretty funny one-liners from the pompous ass of a title character and just enough cameos and in-jokes for the diehards. There certainly are worse movies to watch for 85 minutes, and for once, Mr. Campbell is not in one of them.
P.S. Was Ted Raimi in this film? I forget.
