Hmm. It's entertaining but it's also an incredibly huge shame that this is probably the closest we'll ever get to Evil Dead IV. It's mildly funny, with a handful of jokes working (most of which are lifted from The Evil Dead trilogy), but sadly, that's about it. Most jokes do fall flat and the plot isn't up to much at all.
It doesn't cut it for a passive Campbell fan like myself. I think it's geared more towards the kinds of people who've seen everything he's ever been in.
Personal enjoyment: 6/10.
Actual quality as a film: 5/10.
