Review of My Name Is Bruce (2007) by Iain B — 10 Mar 2009

Ok so, I must preface this movie review with a couple of important factors that have influence over my review:

#1 - I watched this film practically comatose.

#2 - I am a huge fan of Bruce Campbell and he can almost do no wrong in my eyes so this movie review is not impartial nor is my rating of this film!

#3 - I may even give this film a higher rating in the future after I watch it again.

I must say there were some great one-liners in this film. Two of them in particular were my favorites and they were so good that I find myself quoting them. Bruce Campbell did a great job considering that he was practically a one man band in this films production. It's always good to see a person who has humility and I believe Bruce Campbell has a lot of that, there is no chip on this man's shoulder for sure! He did a great job by working in almost every conceivable way to make fun of himself, his career, and 'myths' about him in this film. I don't want to write too much more in fear that I will spoil it. So, in closing let me say that this film is most definitely so very bad it's so very good again! Truly the Bruce Campbell way of taking care of business!!
