Bruce Campbell's charm and and skill carry this and make a fun but disappointing movie. He sadly just doesn't have the directing skill or visual flair to pull this off, reminded me a lot of 'Pick of Destiny' in that in many ways it SHOULD have been a fantastic romp in the vein of Bill & Ted but just never got there despite scenes of promise.
