This movie is only funny to people who are fans of Bruce Campbell, but being a Bruce fan myself, I quite enjoyed it. There's nothing particularly new about the movie - it has basically the same plot as movies like The Three Amigos or Tropic Thunder - but seeing Bruce playing a parody of himself makes it well worth the watch.
Fun and funny, with lots of in-jokes for members of the Cult of Bruce (including a cameo by Ellen "Cheryl" Sandweiss in what has to be her first acting role since the original Evil Dead), My Name Is Bruce proves once again that Campbell is the king of cool.
