Review of My Man Godfrey (1936) by Sheena C — 12 Aug 2007
What is not to love? The script sounds like Moliére, the B & W cinematography is gorgeous, the acting is over-the-top pre-Method Broadway style of the highest order, Powell's dignity and charisma overflow every frame in which he appears, and Lombard is not bad either.
