Review of My Man Godfrey (1936) by Jonathan R — 01 Sep 2009
It's worth watching for William Powell's performance alone. Still, I had no idea why he married the girl at the end. What was appealing about her?
The crazy rich family reminded me of the Bluths. Heh. I especially liked Carlo's dramatic poses. They juxtaposed so wonderfully with the constant energy and motion of the rest of the movie.
