Review of My Little Pony: The Movie (2017) by Ivan S — 13 Oct 2017

As a fan I see this movie as the best and most grandiose adventure episode of the show we have seen yet. The quality of action is just over the top. The sound is gorgeous and thrilling. And the whole movie is just an unstoppable machine of amazing moments.

Sadly it came with a cost which I think could and should have been avoided. Because of the small runtime of just 1,5 hour and a giant new cast of characters that has been newly presented we just didn't have enough time to fully focus on anything. Action sequences came with very short windows between them for character and plot explaining and because we've got great characters that are just half-introduced.
