My Little Pony: The Movie is like a longer version of an average episode of the TV show. It's bigger in scale, but not in story. Plus, the music, though enjoyable in the moment, is not particularly memorable.
My kids will probably love it, but, personally, I prefer My Little Pony: Equestria Girls when it comes to feature films from this franchise.
