As a fan of he show this was such a fun movie, much better than any of the Equestria Girls films (two of which I also saw at the cinema). It was funny, heartwarming, had great music, and stayed true to the themes of the show.
I do wonder if certain moments make sense without prior experience of Friendship is Magic, however from where I stand it is my animated film of the year.
