My Little Pony the Movie (2017) was awful, this is another of one of those TV cartoons to get their own animated feature film on the big screen, many other cartoons did this like Powerpuff Girls, SpongeBob, Rugrats, Hey Arnold,.

The Simpsons, South Park and many others. Now I just want to make it clear that I have seen the TV series this movie is from and I didn't really enjoy it. It's a show about friendship and sure I guess that's okay for little kids to watch so they know not to be horrible kids in the future heck even good enough for little girls because of the characters being ponies, sure go nuts, but I can't find the enjoyment from it. The movie however, is even worse than the show, this movie uses every cliche in TV and movie book, the whole plot of the movie and the way they have the characters is super cliched and predictable at the same time! The show isn't that great, but at least it made more sense to have the type of things in it, but this movie just makes it so much worse.

The movie as I mentioned has a cliched and predictable story, the characters are either so confusing or unlikable, like who are some of these characters? Likely a fan wouldn't know but neither would your average movie goer. The cast is good though seeing as their acting is really well done, even their singing is nicely done too, the actual songs however are again cliched and predictable, along with being so blah and sometimes overused. The normal music is alright but I've heard better music than this, none of the jokes are funny. If there is anything that really is great about this movie is that it has really great animation, although there are sometimes that the animation looked like it was made from Adobe flash than what the actual animation program they used to make the movie.

Maybe if I was a fan of the My Little Pony series I could get some enjoyment out of it, but I just can't get over how bad this movie really is, I have already found a movie that's worse than Sony Picture Animation's Smurfs, Surf's Up 2 and the Star, it's really that bad of a movie. I will say though, if you're a fan of the My Little Pony TV series you might get some enjoyment out of this, but if you're not a fan of the TV series, than it's okay to give this one (I wish I did).

I give My Little Pony the Movie a 1.5 out of 10 a really bad, cliched, predictable movie that should've been direct to TV instead of it going on the big screen. And please for the love of god, DON'T MAKE A SEQUEL!!!
