Review of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls – Rainbow Rocks (2014) by Light H — 22 Oct 2014
Think Sailor Moon as interpreted by Gem and the Holograms and you'll get a good idea of what this movie is about. Better than the original Equestria Girls, though that improvement can be measured in millimeters, Sunset Shimmer comes out as a far more interesting character than the Mane Six. The songs are actually okay, the animation no better than the television series, and really you could do worse than this movie, though it's hard to think of an example at the moment.
