Review of My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (2013) by Epic L — 06 Jul 2013

Welp, I saw it. I watched it on YouTube because I doubt that I'd have the opportunity to go to the theater for a while, and I can honestly say, it was decent. I liked it. I mean sure, it was it's cringe worthy moments, considering it's a kids movie, but so does MLP and we've toughed those out to see the show for what it is, which is, a solid and well written show, and it' the same for this movie. Solid and well written. Plus, the movie caters to both bronies (such as myself) and it's intended audience, children, effectively. Plenty of humor for the kiddies and the bros alike, plus there's a lot of inside jokes and references to the brony community, which I thought was awesome. I mean, it's no MLP, but I think it comes close and for the first MLP movie, it accomplished it's goal of being genuinely entertaining. At least, for me it did.

P.S Stick around for the credits, there's one more thing that they left for us bronies that a lot of people missed.
