'My Little Eye' is clever in its attempt to play on the fears of modern day society, including invasion of privacy and the dangers of the internet, but unfortunately it falls quite flat through its lack of originality.

5 strangers are placed in a 'Big Brother' type situation in order to win a large quantity of money. What follows is a pretty predictable, not-so interesting chain of events that results in a murderous back-stabbing frenzy.

It's shot in the similar style of 'The Blair Witch Project' and plays on the voyeuristic qualities of other horror films, but it's twist at the end is something we're all to familiar with nowadays in contemporary horror films.

Add to this the conventional horror characters of 'the slut' 'the virgin' 'the nice guy' and 'the rebel' and you'll find yourself right in the middle of a horror cliché that is admirable for its attempt at painting a distressingly bleak outlook on human morality, but ultimately a bit of a bore.

Not bad, but not good either.
