Review of My Life Without Me (2003) by Heist ! — 14 May 2008
I don't remember much about Rebecca other than Laurence Olivier's funky mustache.
The Proposition was too long. Danny Huston isn't very scary.
Night of the Demons 2 needed some more gore, because otherwise, it had ass kicking nuns and a some boobage.
My Life Without Me is pretentious. No really, it is. With its annoying and awkwardly uncerebral voiceover narration and wannabe-eclectic editing, you're in for one hell of a indie-hating time. Sarah Polley's pretty hot though.
Gymkata wasn't anywhere near as awful as I wanted it to be. It would have neede a lot more gymkata to reach that level. Instead there's too much boring plot development.
