Review of My Life Without Me (2003) by Yvonne H — 08 Oct 2007
It was perfect. The deliberate perfection could be a flaw in other films -- moments of stagey dialogue, consciously quirky characters, scenes almost too pretty and endearing, too-neatly tied up endings -- but here, they all work, and work really fricking well.
Tragic and sweet without being cloying, adorable with the right amount of subtlety and depth. Amazing acting, beautiful cinematography.
