Review of My Life Without Me (2003) by Patricia S — 26 Feb 2009
For me a very surprising and unique story about a mother who is by told by her doctor that she has little more time to live. She never shares her fate with anyone but instead starts a list of things she wants to have accomplished before her death.
At night she sits in her car and records tapes for her daughters birthdays until they are 18 years old. She meets a man and has an affair - a love which belongs only to her and it enriches both of their lives.
She even finds a new women for her husband. Her end is never shown but you get it alright. A very moving movie.
