Review of My Life in Ruins (2009) by Lilianetty L — 22 Aug 2010
I love Greece (thanks to 7th Art classes and history) and this film, even knowing it as a romantic-comedy, it shows the fun of Greece and it's culture. Amazing film with an awesome story-telling!
Plot: Georgia is a tour guide, who wishes to make people learn about the culture and the past of Greece. Her journey as a guide makes her see things she would never knew or knew and just ignored. Amazing fun ride with a great cast.
Acting: Rachel Dratch was HILARIOUS! She acts so well and awesome. Nia Verdalos as Georgia did an amazing job. Richard as Irv was hilarious, sometimes sad but great! Alexis as Poupi was amazing, and yes (hot) LOL. In a serious way, this cast has inspired me! Love this cast!
Music: Very classic, very lovely and romantic and yes, GREECE POWER! Loved it and is stunning.
To end this review, 4 stars of 5. I enjoyed this film, it touched my heart, it made me cry, laugh, think about life and friendship and learn that life is only once and we need to enjoy it till it is over. Enjoy my review and PEACE TO ALL MY FRIENDS! XD.
