Yes, it was predictable. Indeed, it's no "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Nia Vardalos was definitely a bit too shrill. All that aside, the flick had moments and was hardly a turd. It's your basic rom/com that is worth seeing once but not one to add to the permanent collection.
