Review of My Life (1993) by Katie G — 23 Oct 2009
Bob Jones (Michael Keaton) runs away from his childhood thinking his parents don?t like him and never did. He leaves Detroit for Los Angeles to find a life that?s different from his childhood memories, where he finds success, a good wife (Nicole Kidman) and will soon be a dad.
He also discovers he has cancer and his life will be considerably shortened, but wants to live long enough to see the birth of his child. For Keaton, this dramatic role is interspersed with comedy that only Keaton can produce.
Guys will probably be silent through most of the emotional segments, gals, you?ll need a Kleenex. Worth viewing.
