I had a hard time with this, it's trying REALLY hard to be a tear-jerker, but also diverges into slapstick and cheese. It also wraps up everything WAY too easily and he only really looks like he has terminal cancer at the very end, despite being told he had 3 months to live (I know they explain this by having him wish on a star to god to let him see his son born, but come on).

Parts were touching, but mostly if felt, too sugar-coated and cheesy to be a real bawler...
