Review of My Kid Could Paint That (2007) by Kinohi N — 23 Oct 2007
This movie trudges along with family photos and talking heads for the first 45 minutes. The second half is more inspired, as Bar-Lev turns the lens on himself, and his own investment in the child phenom who is (?) Marla.
Some footage of the Olmstead family post-controversy isn't so much incriminating as painfully honest: Laura pleads with Bar-Lev, and us, "I need you to believe me.".
