Review of My Kid Could Paint That (2007) by Stasi M — 23 Mar 2008
This documentary starts by exploring the question of whether abstract art is really art (especially when a four-year-old's fingerpaintings are selling in galleries), but it moves in a surprising and fascinating direction, exploring the nature of journalism and its potential to harm as well as blow up stories, and also turns out to be about the potential pitfalls of parenting (the mother is so honest and heartbreaking).
Wonderful on many many levels.
