Review of My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising (2019) by Dustyn — 24 Dec 2021
As a big My Hero fan, I was ecstatic with this movie. You can tell Bones put their blood and sweat into this film, and the fight scenes will make any shounen fan feel completely satisfied. My only issue with this movie, and the reason why I gave it a 9 instead of a 10, is the fact that it isn't canon to the overall My Hero Academia universe.
The events in this movie would've played such a pivotal role in the character development of many of the heroes from Class 1-A, but unfortunately this story is isolated and therefore the events that take place should be taken with a grain of salt.
Besides that, it's a 100% recommendation from me that all My Hero fans give this a watch ASAP. Best to be watched alongside season 4 of the anime.
