Review of My Girl 2 (1994) by Eric C — 24 Nov 2009
Nice sequel continues the story of Vada and her life lessons. This time she's a teenager who must visit LA where her mother was born and discover her roots, good and possibly bad. During this period of time she meets her Uncle's new girlfriend's street wise son, who decides to take her out on the town to help her find information.
I enjoyed this film and actually saw it in the theaters. The magic from the first is not there as much in this film.
The performances here are good, we get a nice sense of family in all points of the film. The muaic is also great. Go see this film and let your family sense peak out.
4 out of 5 stars.
SOUNDTRACK SONG I HAVE:
The Temptations-My Girl.
Elton John-Bennie And the Jets.
Elton John-Tiny Dancer.
Charles Chaplin-Smile.
The Beach Boys-Don't Worry Baby.
