Review of My Girl (1991) by Mare Q — 29 Sep 2009
Comedy-drama starring Anna Chlumsky, Macaulay Culkin, Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis and Griffin Dunne. written by Laurice Elehwany. directed by Howard Zieff.
The film takes place during the summer of 1972 and it follows Vada Sultenfuss (Chlumsky), an eleven-year-old tomboy-hypochondriac, as she makes the journey from a child to a young woman.
Superbly written and wonderfully acted, I absolutely love this film. Chlumsky captured so beautifully life, love and loss. my favorite coming of age story. ♥.
