Review of My Girl (1991) by Corey N — 24 Oct 2009

This is a solid drama about a young girl who has a father that runs a funeral parlor, her mother died years ago and is at that age when one begins to transition from child to teenager. Solid performances from Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis and a young Macaulay Culkin.

But it is the performance of Anna Chlumsky that stole the movie. She gives a top notch performance as a child actor. With a solid story and cast makes for a worthy watch.
