Review of My Girl (1991) by Keegan C — 28 Jun 2011
The first thing I need to commend is the wonderful acting from the entire cast. Anna Chlumsky was brilliant in her first role, and Macauley Culkin was perfect as the clumsy, little boy. Dan Akroyd did a fine job of playing the emotionally detached father and Jamie Lee Curtis did well playing his love interest.
I really liked Thomas J., as he was the only one who truly understood Vada's feelings and why she acted the way she did. "My Girl" is a great family film, and a great film overall.. well written and charming movie, filled with irresistible 60's music.
