Although it falters a little towards the end, its a pretty well paced film with plenty of sharp, humorous dialogue. james garner and jack lemmon are tit for tat and it works pretty well. surprisingly though, for this type of film that lemmon appeared in so much towards the end of the career, his performance is a bit off and it is garner who truly shines.
