Review of My Fair Lady (1964) by Les E — 05 Jul 2009
Bloomin loverly. Adorable Audrey plays a low flower girl turned into a lady. There are so many great songs but none get in thew way of the story. Several of the scenes are fantastic. When we first meet Elizas dad London wakes up slowly, great.
Then when Eliza goes to Ascot every syllable is special. Harrison and Hyde-White are perfect for their parts and Hepburn is perfect for any part. Although 3 hours long the story deserves every minute.
