Review of My Fair Lady (1964) by Dean T — 07 Apr 2011
She has been considered to be a movie by social critique though it does not stop being an excellent musical comedy magnificently directed and with one Harry Stradling's not less excellent photography (Oscar), and by a very well-deserved sonorous band of Frederik Loewe (Oscar also).
It fills of unforgettable scenes as Ascott's career or the dance of presentation does of his not less wonderful protagonist Audrey Hepburn the center of attention of the whole movie though the Oscar Rex Harrison took it to him well-deservedly.
Romantic movie but that does not pall. An anticipation of pretty Woman though this one to more height. The above mentioned thing Wonderful.
