Review of My Dog Skip (2000) by Benny C — 10 Feb 2009

This is the only dog movie I actually like. It really was a feel good film. It was just about some dog, it was about the the little boy making a friend, someone who was there for him when he didn't have friends. Someone who was loyal and someone who kept him sane. The only reason he made friends was because of Skip. So really that dog was the only real friend he had. It just shows that people need a reason to talk to you because people are mean. The dog was the reason people started talking to him. Which made me think that these people are just horrible. Frankie Munez's character and Luke Wilson's character were the only characters that weren't fake and weren't jerks.

In the end I loved this movie. It's not going to be everyone's type of movie, You need to be able to relate with it on a personal level, but that's with any movie.
