I was totally unprepared for how this movie would make me feel. Not knowing much about Herve but seeing the trailer I thought I would watch it. It is a very funny sad moving honest portrait of a star whose fame has declined and one of those LA encounters with a journalist that ends more like the Hangover.
The performances are superb and the direction is so gripping and keeps the film from ever feeling cheesy or reactionary. Definitely going to watch again. Best thing I have seen in ages with scenes that live with you.
