This! This is how it's done! This is like a miracle of moviemaking, with all of the secret ingredients that everybody has been striving for but falling short. It has dialogue that is deep and meaingful without being preachy and pretentious.
It's got characters who you really come to care about through the course of one dinner. It's got two of the best performances I've ever seen. It's got a character arc that a dozen other good character pieces combined couldn't even graze.
Just totally transfixing. Then again, you might absolutely hate it.
